Find the country, ASN and network of an IP address, or paste a log and look up every IP in it.
About this tool
IP geolocation lookup: how it works
In support, IP lookups answer practical questions. Is this login from the country the customer lives in? Are the five people reporting an outage all on the same ISP? Is that signup coming from a data center? This tool returns the country, ASN and network owner, which is enough for all three.
Bulk mode is for logs. Paste an access log, a list of email headers or a CSV export and it finds every unique IPv4 and IPv6 address, up to 50, then looks them up a few at a time. Download the result as CSV to sort or share.
The network type is a hint, not a verdict. It flags networks that mostly serve servers and VPN exits, like AWS, Google Cloud or Hetzner. The data comes from the public endpoint POST https://api.ticketdesk.ai/v1/public/ip. For tickets and customers, see the full API reference.
What it does
- IPv4 and IPv6, including compressed IPv6
- Bulk mode: pulls IPs out of logs, headers or CSV
- Flags hosting, cloud and VPN networks
- JSON response and CSV export
- Shareable link with ?ip=

FAQ
IP geolocation lookup: common questions
How accurate is IP geolocation?
Country is right for well over 95% of addresses. City level is much less reliable, which is why this tool only shows country and network. Mobile networks and VPNs often appear in a different country than the person.
Can I look up many IP addresses at once?
Yes. Switch to Bulk, paste any text with IPs in it and select Look up. Duplicates are removed and up to 50 addresses are looked up per batch.
How can I tell if an IP is a VPN or proxy?
Check the network owner. Residential users come from ISPs like Comcast or Jio. Addresses from cloud providers and known VPN companies are flagged as hosting. It is a strong signal but not proof.
Is it safe to look up customer IPs?
Lookups go to our server to query the database, and the IP addresses are not stored. Follow your own privacy policy when you handle customer data.
How do I find the IP that sent an email?
Paste the headers into the email header analyzer. It lists every server on the delivery path, and each public IP links back here.
Is there an API for IP lookup?
Yes. POST https://api.ticketdesk.ai/v1/public/ip with {"ip": "1.1.1.1"} returns the same JSON shown on the page, for example {"ip":"1.1.1.1","ipVersion":"IPv4","locationName":"Australia","asn":"13335","asnName":"CLOUDFLARENET"}.
